After losing my husband, I spent several years rebuilding my life and career. When the pandemic changed everything and I found myself out of work, I was faced with a choice: start over in another job or take a chance on myself.

I chose the latter and purchased a specialty olive oil and balsamic business.

Drawing on decades of retail experience—including managing stores, opening new locations, attending trade shows, and buying for retail—I transformed the business into what is now O&V Tasting Room in the heart of St. Jacobs.

I’ve enjoyed olive oil as part of my daily lifestyle for decades and have always been fascinated by its health benefits, incredible flavour, and versatility. As a lifelong learner with a passion for wellness, I’ve spent years studying premium extra virgin olive oils and traditionally aged balsamic vinegars.

Today, my mission is simple: help others discover products that are both delicious and beneficial while creating a welcoming place where customers can taste, learn, and connect.
