Our 2025 Olio Nuovo Limited Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced from Koroneiki olives harvested during the first weeks of the season between October 24 and November 1, 2025. “Olio Nuovo,” meaning new oil, refers to the first olive oil pressed immediately after harvest, prized for its vibrant flavour, bold character, and exceptionally high levels of natural antioxidants.
This limited reserve olive oil has received multiple international honours, including Gold Awards at the NYIOOC World Olive Oil Competition and the Aristoleo International Olive Oil Competition. Laboratory analysis confirms its remarkable quality with 774 mg/kg polyphenols (NMR method), 448 mg/kg oleocanthal, free fatty acidity of 0.28, and peroxide value of 3.20, placing it among the very high-phenolic extra virgin olive oils available today. Oils with elevated polyphenol levels are valued for both their robust flavour and the natural antioxidants associated with the Mediterranean diet. Expect vibrant aromas of green olive, fresh herbs, and artichoke followed by a pleasant bitterness and peppery finish — the hallmark of powerful early harvest olive oil.
