Gunn's Hill - Handeck
This is a hand crafted washed rind cow's milk cheese that is produced using the same methods as a typical Swiss mountain style cheese. It is aged for 24 months. It is delicately aged on cedar wood planks adding robust flavors to the cheese. It is a drier hard cheese with very rich and complex flavors and nutty overtones. All of the milk used comes from our family dairy farm. It pairs well with red wines such as Pinot Noir and also dark roasted beers.
**This is our favourite for grating over pasta or adding to a Cesar salad in replace of Parmeasan!**
Each piece is around 175g
