Quark is a fresh cheese with a smooth, creamy & spreadable texture. It is known and loved by athletes for its high protein content. It can be topped with maple syrup, fresh fruit, jam or just enjoyed plain. It is great in everything from lasagna to cheeecake. We use ours as yougurt and simply top with some granola.
Mountain Oak Quark has no sugar added. They sweeten their Blueberry Quark with maple syrup. Its our son's FAVOURITE!
Plain quark has three simple ingredients, pasteurized whole milk, bacterial culture and rennet.
